Beko Dishwashers

Beko brand household appliances are distributed by Beko Deutschland GmbH, which belongs to the Turkish Koç Holding. Beko dishwashers are characterized by a good price-performance ratio. Despite good equipment, the manufacturer makes sure that the purchase price is kept within reasonable limits. Both freestanding and integratable dishwashers are offered in different sizes and with different energy efficiencies.

Typical product features

Beko dishwashers are particularly interesting for consumers who want to get as much as possible for as little money as possible. Here, however, you usually have to accept some sacrifices in terms of quality. In terms of both energy efficiency and performance, Beko models are in no way inferior to many USA brand-name appliances.

TrayWash

Beko’s innovative TrayWash feature allows you to save time and energy when rinsing large baking trays. With a special design, the Beko dishwasher allows you to place 2 baking trays in the lower basket and one baking tray in the upper basket at the same time. In addition, there are fasteners that hold the trays securely in place even during the wash cycle. When the TrayWash function is activated, the machine exerts high pressure on the usually very encrusted trays and, including additional rinsing, ensures that even the most stubborn dirt is removed.

AquaIntense

Beko’s AquaIntense is an extra “intensive cleaning zone” at the bottom right of the dishwasher, thanks to a 180° rotating arm with a 360° rotating head. Here, pots and pans are washed particularly thoroughly. The manufacturer speaks of up to 5 times better washing results thanks to additional washing pressure in the lower basket.

SlideFit

Especially with integrable models, the furniture front slides upwards thanks to the SlideFit mechanism on the door, so that Beko dishwashers equipped with it fit into almost any kitchen, even with shorter plinths and longer furniture fronts.

Special features and functions

  • SteamGloss function – extends drying time and reduces the size of water droplets, resulting in glasses that shine more and dishes that shine brighter
  • Fast+ function – reduces program time by up to 70%.
  • Half load – energy-efficient dishwashing even with only a light load
  • Watersafe+ – automatically locks the water inlet at the faucet if the inlet hose is damaged
  • Auto Tab – automatically detects the use of dishwasher tabs
  • Stainless steel interior and bottom tray
  • Height-adjustable upper basket – for more space in the lower basket
  • 10 years motor warranty

Beko dishwasher in test

The Beko DIN28410 came in 2nd place in Stiftung Warentest’s dishwasher test (10/2018 issue), but couldn’t really convince the testers with an overall score of “satisfactory” (2.7). While safety, handling and endurance testing were still rated “good”, the short program and noise level were only satisfactory.
The Beko DSN16330X dishwasher, on the other hand, achieved 4th place in the ETM Testmagazin test (5/2017 issue) with a score of “good” (89.1%), where the very good cleaning and flexible interior were praised. The lack of a remaining time display and the low number of programs, on the other hand, weighed negatively.
